Arnaud de Labarre var tidligere medejer af Cheval Blanc. Det siger lidt om hvilke kvalitetskrav han stiller til sig selv og sine omgivelser. Kun det bedste er godt nok. De vine han producerer på hans eget slot Laplagnotte Bellevue er bundsolide, ærketypiske Saint Emilion vine. Det er vine som disse der i tidernes morgen har givet området sit gode ry og rygte. Vinen er produceret på 70% Merlot og 30% Cabernet Franc og certificeret Økologisk.

Dyb kompleks næse med mørke bær i retning af kølig solbær og blåbær. Vanille fra fad, samt en lidt røget kul og koks-agtig note. Fast bid fra ungdommelig tannin, men pakket pænt ind i saftig frugt. Eftersmag med mørke indtryk - røg, sort peber og lakrids. Flot vin, med masser af potentiale. Klarer nemt 5-10 år i kælderen. 

Vinen er økologisk.
